GW Restarts my Computer when ts is running
This problem usually occurs everytime i am in a mission, for example i can make it to the 3rd or 4th group in thunderhead keep near the end of the mission and it will restart (if i have my ts on) I am wondering if its a memory problem? as i can do quests all night with the ts on and no problem its just when i use ts and in a mission it restarts.
Any idea's
thanks

Guess-- Try running music in the background instead of TS, do you get a restart then?

when it restarts do you get any message from windows about what went wrong? sometimes it will pop up a "windows has recovered from a serious error..." message and it will tell you what driver caused the problem.

Try for a sound Driver update, that would be my most accurate guess right now.

i've updated my sound card, and played music as well. I've noticed that the music slows down to almost sounding like charlie browns teacher at times when i do have my GW running. And no error messages just a restart and thats it. Its been pretty stable lately, but i've been running vent instead of TS and it seems to be working. But really aren't those two programs virtually the same. I don't know it has me stumped thats for sure... thanks for the help. Very much appreciated

try turning the game sound quality to the lowest settings. i know if i try to go into observer mode with the sound at the highest setting, my comp will restart. it sounds like a memory issue. reducing the sound quality seems to be the easiest way.

To figure out what the problem is:
Make sure that you set your system so that it isn't doesn't reboot when the error occurs.
Right Click "My Computer" > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Uncheck "Automatically restart"
This way you will see a BSOD instead of your system rebooting.
It will indicate what your system thinks the problem is.
I say "thinks" because I have seen cases where the reported error wasn't actually what the problem was. But it is a good place to start.
Post the error message here verbatim and it will be easier to figure out what exactly is happening.
Also post your system specs ,.i.e. Ram, Video Card, CPU, etc…
